Decree-Law No. 84 of 25 June 2024 on critical raw materials of strategic interest

Implements the EU Critical Raw Materials Act nationally. It sets up a single contact point and fast-track permitting for strategic projects, and a technical committee for critical and strategic raw materials at the industry ministry. It also mandates a national exploration programme by ISPRA, a register of strategic companies and value chains, and opens the National Made in Italy Fund to extraction and processing. Converted with amendments by Law No. 115 of 8 August 2024.
