Codelco and SQM signed a partnership agreement to jointly develop lithium and potassium production on Corfo's Salar de Atacama properties for 2025-2060, with Codelco holding 50% plus one share; the JV, NovaAndino Litio, became effective in December 2025.

SQM and Hancock Prospecting agreed to jointly acquire Azure Minerals, owner of the Andover lithium project, for AUD 3.70 per share in cash (about AUD 1.7 billion equity value); the scheme was implemented on 2 May 2024.
