Zimbabwe's first-half 2026 lithium export earnings exceed its full-year 2025 total
Zimbabwe earned about USD 782 million from lithium exports in the first half of 2026, above the roughly USD 571 million recorded for all of 2025, according to figures in the finance minister's mid-year budget review. The rise came alongside higher lithium prices and the country's first lithium sulphate exports in April under its policy of shifting away from raw concentrate.
